Through the Capital Plus! program, WCRA funded the Shoreline Historical Museum (SHM) on August 12, 2019. The addition of a new collections facility and research center is currently being completed. SHM is the only historical organization of its kind to preserve, record, and interpret the history of the cities of Lake Forest Park, Shoreline, and North Seattle.
The Capital Plus! Program is a partnership of the WCRA and the Washington State Housing Finance Commission, who financially supports Capital Plus! program funds. The program assists nonprofit organizations that otherwise may not have access to financing. More information regarding this program is available here.
